2019 Cherry Health Celebration

On Thursday, November 7, 2019 over 400 friends of Cherry Health Foundation gathered at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park to celebrate what is going right in healthcare. This annual immersive fundraising event, Cherry Health Celebration, proved an exciting evening of storytelling, as guests engaged the organization’s message of “hope beyond the headlines.” Proceeds from this annual fundraising event serve the 76,000 patients of Cherry Health through ensuring and expanding access to comprehensive, quality health care for populations in need, and creating innovative programs that increase health outcomes.

Through sponsors, individual donors and pledges made at 2019 Cherry Health Celebration, over $143,000 was donated in support of Cherry Health’s mission to improve the health and wellness of the communities we serve, regardless of income or insurance. For more information and for sponsorship opportunities for future events, please contact Kate Klemp, Annual Giving & Donor Relations Manager, at 616.965.8267 or kateklemp@cherryhealth.com.

Check out Ralph Fowler’s story to learn how Cherry Health made a difference in his recovery from mental illness.

On May 9, 2019, Cherry Health Foundation hosted our annual Prescription: Strength luncheon supporting Cherry Health’s work in community health. The significant impact of our essential, integrated mental health services were illustrated through Ralph’s story of care (above). Nearly $60,000 was donated, supporting our mission to ensure access to comprehensive, holistic health care for the most vulnerable among us.
