“Eat,Play,Grow” Teaches Kids About Eating Healthy

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WZZM) – It’s never too early to start teaching your kids about nutrition. A special program in Grand Rapids is making it easier than ever to start teaching you kids healthy habits.

“Eat, Play, Grow” is a program that combines the latest science and research to teach children ages 2-5 and their parents how to make healthy nutrition and physical activity choices.

Each class features art-making, storytelling, music, and movement activities into fun, hands-on educational lessons about the importance of making positive choices in areas that most affect health: nutrition, physical activity, and, based on emerging medical research, sleep.
