Family Practice Physician Joins Barry Community Health Center

Paul Troost, DO will provide full time family practice services to community

HASTINGS, MI – Paul Troost, DO, has joined the team at Barry Community Health Center in Hastings to expand access to primary care for the local community. Dr. Troost will see patients five days per week at the Health Center including evening hours on Tuesday.

Dr. Troost attended medical school at Michigan State University and completed his family practice residency at Metro Hospital in Grand Rapids. He is a board certified family practice physician with a passion for solving complex cases. “I enjoy seeing my patient’s faces light up when I am able to give them answers,” said Dr. Troost.

With his family’s roots in the rural community of Dutton, Dr. Troost is excited to be practicing in Hastings. “I became a family physician because I love to interact with patients of all ages – from infants to seniors,” noted Dr. Troost. “I’m looking forward to meeting new patients, establishing a relationship with them and using open communication to get the best results possible.”

Dr. Troost will see patients at Barry Community Health Center, 330 W. Woodlawn Ave. in Hastings from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays. To schedule an appointment, please call (269) 945-4220.
