GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Those interested in getting information or enrolling in Healthy Michigan, the state’s expanded Medicaid plan, may attend free events held by Cherry Street Health Services.

Computers will be available and health care navigators will guide residents as they fill out applications.

Healthy Michigan is available for those 19 to 64 who earn up to 133 percent of the federal poverty level – about $16,000 for individuals and $32,000 for a family of four. It covers doctor visits, hospital care, prescriptions, dental and vision care.

Individuals and families attending an event should bring in income documents, such as a paycheck or tax return, social security numbers and identification. Those who have a MIBridges account should bring their user name and password.
