September 19, 2016 (MLive) – Cherry Health anticipates opening a school-based health center Wednesday, Sept. 21, on Grand Rapids Public Schools’ Innovation Central High School campus, officials announced.
The nonprofit already has health centers at GRPS’ Burton Elementary and Middle School, Ottawa Hills High School and Union High School. Last school year, Cherry Health opened a health center in the Cedar Springs School District.
A capital campaign was held that raised $1.16 million for the centers in Cedar Springs and at Innovation Central, 421 Fountain St. NE. GRPS’ center was around $491,000.
